The 5th pattern of the Minor Pentatonic Scale is the G form (from the perspective of CAGED guitar).

It fits over the open G7 chord shape:

Once you get a grip on pattern be sure to follow these steps:

  • Play it all 12 keys, ascending and descending
  • Practice connecting all 5 patterns up and down
  • Experiment! Make some music
